Warranty conditions
U•GO guarantees that the bicycles are free from possible defects or material defects, and provides a 2 year manufacturer's warranty on all original parts. U•GO gives a 5 year warranty on the frame and fork.
This warranty does not apply to parts that are subject to wear and tear such as chain, sprockets, brake pads, tires, unless there is a construction or material defect.
This warranty is not transferable and rights can only be derived from it by the original owner.
This warranty only entitles you to repair and/or replace a defective part with an equivalent alternative of that part. Labor costs for disassembly and assembly as well as transport costs of the bicycle are not directly covered by these warranty conditions. The warranty claim must therefore always be submitted to the supplier in advance. If the guarantee is granted, it does not automatically apply that any consequential damage is also honoured.
Warranty exclusions apply in the event of misuse or neglect, incorrect use, replacement with non-original parts and changes to the frame and/or fork, incorrect assembly and adjustments, if proper maintenance has not been carried out, and in the event of damage as a result of an accident.
When submitting a warranty claim, it must be possible to show the original purchase receipt and the bicycle and/or the defective part for inspection. A warranty claim must be submitted to the dealer who supplied the bicycle, the owner must prevent the damage from worsening, and the bicycle must be presented for inspection within 2 weeks in the event of a defect.
